Boy (1st Class) H.M.S. Hood died 24 May 1941 aged 17.

Born 25 April 1924 in Aldbourne  to  Henry and Florence of Aldbourne. HMS Hood was sunk in the Battle of Denmark whilst intercepting the Bismarck and Prinz Eugen. She was hit by shells and sank within 3 minutes, all but 3 of her crew were lost.
