Aldbourne Heritage Centre

AVG_heritage_centre_open_august_2014_500The heritage centre was created to inform and educate both locals and visitors about the history and heritage of Aldbourne.

The centre is open regularly during the summer months – the sidebar on the right shows our opening times, we can probably open at other times if asked in advance.

We also welcome tour groups – please see our tours page

Entry is FREE

The centre contains a number of displays and exhibits, some are permanent, but others are for just a single season. So please don’t think that because you visited last year you’ve seen it all!

The centre also provides information about what we have in our collections. If you’re interested in more just come in and ask us for help.

For those who know the village, we’re in the old CAN building just left of the Crown public house. For those of you new to the village here’s a map:

Organised Tours

We welcome organised tours, and can probably open the centre to match your visit given prior notice - email curator@aldbourneheritage.org.uk . Additionally we can also probably arrange a local guide to help you find locations that your are interested in, and talk about the topic you're interested in. So please do make contact with date...

Free Access There is no entry charge for the centre, we are a voiluntary organization and a registered charity, and will aprreciate any voluntary donation you choose to make. Vehicle Access A road passes imediately in front of the centre, it is one-way and should be accessed from West Street, there is usually no problem...
